Hace a\u00f1os, en una formaci\u00f3n a profesorado dentro del Proyecto Relaciona<\/a> del Instituto de la Mujer, les  ped\u00ed que me contaran alguna buena noticia de la escuela. Una maestra me explic\u00f3 que al preguntar en su clase de 5\u00ba de primaria qu\u00e9 es la regla<\/strong>, los ni\u00f1os respondieron que \u00abla regla es una especie de poder m\u00e1gico que tienen las ni\u00f1as que les servir\u00e1 para ser madres si as\u00ed lo desean cuando sean adultas\u00bb<\/em><\/strong>.<\/strong> En esta clase, me explic\u00f3 la profesora, las ni\u00f1as se viv\u00edan con orgullo y satisfacci\u00f3n: tener la regla era algo que se pod\u00eda nombrar, explicar e incluso aprender un mont\u00f3n de cosas buenas sobre la misma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soy una ferviente defensora de ofrecer una visi\u00f3n positiva de la menstruaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y colocarla en el lugar que le corresponde. Pero tambi\u00e9n defiendo no alimentar la idealizaci\u00f3n de la maternidad<\/em> a las ni\u00f1as desde bien peque\u00f1as. Si bien es cierto que sin la menstruaci\u00f3n la vida no existir\u00eda, la maternidad es siempre una elecci\u00f3n<\/strong> y a\u00fan siendo una elecci\u00f3n, hay mujeres que desean ser madres y no pueden. Considero necesario nombrar todas las realidades y todas las posibilidades para poner realidad y evitar sufrimientos innecesarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
